One of the most common mistakes people make when buying furniture is choosing pieces that are the wrong size. When your furniture is too big OR too small, it can diminish the usability of the space, and throw off the room’s balance.
Here’s how the Custom Layout package works:
Provide a current floor plan. You should be able to get one from your realtor or building manager. If not, you can generate one using an app like CubiCasa, or draw one by hand on graph paper. NOTE: the finished furniture layouts will only be as accurate as the floor plan provided!
Choose up to 3 spaces that you need help with. For example: living area, dining area, bedroom, office, balcony, entryway, etc. NOTE: If you require a dual-purpose space, e.g. a work-from-home area in the living room, an office that converts to a guest room, etc., please select the appropriate add-on.
Choose up to 3 furniture pieces that you will be keeping (optional). The intent of these furniture layouts is to demonstrate the best possible option(s), which usually means getting new furniture. However, if you have a brand new piece that you love, or an heirloom piece that you’re hanging on to, please describe them on the form at checkout.
Receive up to 3 of the best layout options for each space. Within 10 business days of your purchase, your 2D furniture layouts - complete with furniture dimensions - will be delivered straight to your inbox!
