The Best AND Easiest Chicken Strips

NOTE: These “recipes” inspirational notions — not fully-developed or detailed instructions. Take the following with a pinch of salt!

If you love chicken nuggets / strips / cutlets / etc., but CANNOT be bothered with the messy, multi-stage flour > egg > breading situation, this “recipe” is for you. The innovative hack is using ground chicken which allows you to actually season the meat, and skip straight to the breading!

INGREDIENTS (roughly!)

Combine in a large bowl:

1 lb ground chicken thigh

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1 TBSP Better than Bouillon (or chicken base of choice - this deepens the chicken flavour)

1 TSPish each seasonings of choice, e.g. garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, ranch seasoning, etc. Use salt with caution depending on other seasonings).

Once thoroughly combined, roughly form into realistic nuggets, strips, or cutlets, then press into the breading mixture:

1 cup panko

Some seasonings of choice, e.g. parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic/onion powder, etc.

Airfry or shallow fry in a pan until golden on both sides. Enjoy with a caesar salad, in a wrap, as part of a bowl, or on their own with a dipping sauce!
